
Two people were killed when a microbus and a battery-run easy-bike plunged into a roadside ditch after a collision between them on Panchagarh-Tetulia highway in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh district on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, 40 of village Baliadanga and Yeasin, 7, son of Abdus Salam of village Goalpara in Sadar upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Abdullah Hill Zaman, said the Panchagarh-bound microbus and the easy-bike collided and plunged into a roadside ditch when the microbus was giving side to a truck at about 7:00pm at Tin Mile, leaving two people dead on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and seized the three vehicles.
