For routine maintenance work of Karnaphuli Tunnel under Bangladesh Bridge Authority, traffic will be diverted from Patenga to Anwara tube from 11:00pm to 5:00am on 28, 29 and 30 August and controlled traffic will be maintained through Anwara to Patenga tube.
During this time, depending on the existing traffic volume, esteemed passengers may be required to wait on both sides of the tunnel for a minimum of five to a maximum of 10 minutes, said a press release on Thursday.
