International School Dhaka has appointed international leader Steven Ellis as new principal of its secondary school.
Steven Ellis brings over three decades of experience in global education and leadership roles with exposure to diverse cultures across Europe and Asia, said a press release on Thursday.
A United Kingdom citizen, Steven Ellis has served in a wide range of senior roles, including head of school, deputy director and secondary principal, and most recently head of seniors at Malvern College Hong Kong.
Speaking about joining the ISD, Steven said, 鈥業 am honoured to join International School Dhaka, a school with such a strong reputation in the global IB community. I look forward to working with students, parents and colleagues to build on the school鈥檚 success and to ensure that our learners are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.鈥�
He holds an MA in educational administration and a certificate of international school leadership from the Principals鈥� Training Centre, alongside a bachelor of arts in geography and physical education from the University of Liverpool and a PGCE from Loughborough University.
