Mohammad Abu Yusuf joined social welfare ministry as new secretary on Tuesday.
Abu Yusuf is a 15th batch officer of the BCS customs and excise cadre, said a press release.
He has worked in the administration cadre pool and as the head of various divisions and sub-divisions of finance ministry for a long time.
After joining as the new secretary, senior officials and employees of the ministry greeted Abu Yusuf with flowers.
