
Eight winners of Huawei’s ‘Seeds for the Future 2025, Bangladesh’ have started their 10-day trip to China.
During the trip, they will be attending Digital Talent Summit along with training on 5G, AI, IoT and Smart City; and social exchange programmes, said a press release.
This programme is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of promising young talents by exposing them to the latest advancements in technology and innovation.
By participating in expert-led training sessions and engaging with industry leaders at the Digital Talent Summit, the students will gain hands-on experience and a global perspective that will empower them to become future leaders in Bangladesh’s rapidly evolving ICT sector.
Tanvir Ahmed, head of external communications, Huawei South Asia, said, ‘It is our 12th year of arranging Seeds for the Future programme in Bangladesh. It is not just a competition, but a valuable journey through what our students get advanced ICT and Telco knowledge in Bangladesh or abroad.’
He also mentioned, ‘We hope this year’s Bangladeshi winners will use the full opportunity of this upcoming arrangement and it will make them more competent to contribute to Bangladesh’s ICT journey.’
Syed Atif Ryhan, American International University – Bangladesh; Farisa Zaynah Zaman, North South University; Nafim Karim Khan, BRAC University; Md Rezwan Ullah, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology; Tasnia Iffat, University of Dhaka; Md Safius Sifat, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology; Nufsat Farooque and Wasif Uddin from Islamic University of Technology are in this China trip.
