The Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court on Wednesday imposed a travel ban on Independent Television chief executive officer and its editor M Shamsur Rahman in connection with a graft charge.
ACC deputy director for public relations Aktarul Islam told 抖阴精品 that the court issued the travel ban following a petition submitted by the Anti-Corruption Commission deputy director Md Joynal Abedin.
According to the allegations, ACC earlier formed a five-member inquiry team to conduct a probe into allegations of embezzling Tk 36,000 crore from different banks and financial institutions and laundering the money abroad against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina鈥檚 adviser and former lawmaker Salman F Rahman.
ACC in the petition said that the Commission found information of the connection of Shamsur Rahman with the laundering of the money.
