In the ongoing countrywide operation, the police apprehended 1,858 crime suspects in the past 24 hours.
According to the Police Headquarters, 1,220 of them arrested in previous cases and pending warrants while 638 on various charges.
One single barrel gun, one country-made LG, 13 rounds of cartridges and several sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
