The Rapid Action Battalion on Saturday arrested two suspects over the killing of a bus helper named Oli Mia, whose dismembered body was recovered from Gazipur鈥檚 Tongi on Friday.
RAB-1 company commander Rifat Bin Asad told 抖阴精品 that they arrested the two suspects at Chattogram Saturday afternoon.
The identities of the suspects and further details would be provided in a press briefing on Sunday, he said.
The police recovered parts of the dismembered body from an abandoned travel bag at Tongi in Gazipur on Friday morning.
The police recovered the body parts wrapped in polythene inside the bag on Tongi Station Road along the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.
Local people spotted the travel bag in the Tongi Station Road area Friday morning. A foul smell was coming from the bag, which led them to alert the law enforcement agencies.
The Police Bureau of Investigation was able to confirm the identity of the victim through fingerprints.
The victim was identified as Oli Mia, 36, who worked as a helper at an Azmeri Paribahan bus.
According to the police, the victim was killed elsewhere two or three days ago before being dumped at the location.
