A farewell ceremony for the 19th batch of mechanical engineering department at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology was held on the campus in Chattogram on Sunday.
CUET vice-chancellor Professor Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was the chief guest at the event held at the IT Business Incubator auditorium, said a press release.
Special guests were mechanical and manufacturing faculty dean Professor Kazi Afzalur Rahman and director of student鈥檚 welfare Professor Md Mahbubul Alam.
Other speakers included Professor Badius Salam, Professor Sajal Chandra Banik, Professor Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Professor Md Sanaul Rabbi, Professor Prosanjit Das, Professor Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem, Professor Md Mamunur Rashid and Professor Tilak Kumar Das.
Professor Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Bhuiyan, head of the department of mechanical engineering, presided over the event while Ahad Bin Azad and Saima Islam Saba, students of the 20th batch of mechanical engineering, moderated it.
Sourav Dev, Mahbuba Laila Proma and Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury spoke on behalf of the outgoing batch of students.
