At least six people were killed and four others injured in road accidents in Brahmanbaria, Bogura and Cumilla districts on Sunday.聽

抖阴精品 correspondent in Brahmanbaria reported that four people were killed when two motorcycles and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Bijoynagar upazila in the district.


The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The incident occurred near Rampur Government Primary School under Chandura union.

Brahmanbaria Khatihata Highway Police in-charge Md Jahangir Alam said that they recovered the bodies.聽

In Cumilla, Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha report, an expatriate was killed and four others were injured when a bus collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Burichang upazila.聽

The deceased, Ibrahim Sarker, 32, was a resident of Sarkarbari in Subil union of Debidwar upazila of the district.

Mainamati Highway Police officer-in-charge Iqbal Bahar Majumder said that local people rescued the injured and sent them to Cumilla Medical College Hospital.

In Bogura, a minor girl was killed when a truck hit her at Sarugram village of Kalerpara union under Dhunat upazila.

The deceased was Tuba Khatun, 4, daughter of Shah Alam of the same area.

The accident took place on the Dhunat-Sonahata road when a truck hit the girl severely injuring her while she was crossing the road, said Dhunat police officer-in-charge Saidul Alam.

Critically injured Tuba was taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
