Manarat International University held the graduation ceremony of the first batch of Islamic studies department at the Cordova Seminar Hall of the university鈥檚 Gulshan campus in Dhaka on Friday.
Dean of the school of arts and humanities and head of the Islamic studies department Abu Ayub Md Ibrahim was present as chief guest while controller of examinations and acting registrar AHM Abu Sayeed was present as special guest at the ceremony, said a press release.
Coordinator and assistant professor of the Islamic studies department Md Ruhul Amin presided over the ceremony, which was attended by associate professor Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad and lecturer Md Kamruzzaman Khizri, among others.
At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest and the guests presented mementos to the graduating students.
