A mobile court of RAB has fined 11 establishments Tk 5,80,000 for illegally stocking and selling fake cosmetics and baby food in the Riazuddin Bazar area of the city.
RAB-7 senior assistant director for media ARM Mozaffar Hossain on Wednesday said that the drive led by RAB Headquarters executive magistrate Md Abu Hasan was conducted on Tuesday.
He said that the establishments had been fined for illegally stocking and selling fake cosmetics, baby food and expired cosmetics at Riazuddin Bazar.
Besides, 218 litres of fake soy sauce, 511 fake Lux soaps and various expired cosmetics were seized during the operation.
