A joint force arrested Bablur Rahman alias Ghena, an accused in a murder case, along with a foreign pistol at Kaliganj in Jhenaidah on Friday night.
Bablur Rahman is accused in the murder of two BNP activists, Yunus Ali and his brother Mohabbat Ali, who were killed at Jamal union of the upazila on June 1.
Shafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj police station, said that the joint force conducted a drive at Gopalpur village the upazila and arrested Bablur.
Several other criminal cases are also pending against him with Kaliganj police station.
