An Indian truck driver was held with 20 Bangladeshi passports at Benapole in Jashore on Thursday.
Ansar commander Helaluzzaman, in charge of port security, said that based on secret information, the security personnel stationed at the port intercepted the truck driver, Becharam Paramanik, while he was passing the cargo vehicle terminal suspiciously with a bag in hand. 鈥楢fter searching his bag, 20 Bangladeshi passports were recovered.鈥�
A case was filed under the Passport Act with the Benapole Port police station. Benapole Port police station officer-in-charge Md Russel Mia confirmed the matter.
