A fire drill was held at Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation Bhaban in Dhaka on Monday to enhance awareness of fire safety and emergency response, according to a press release.
BCIC chairman Md Fazlur Rahman witnessed the drill where all the directors, department heads and officers and employees were present.
The drill included practical demonstrations of firefighting techniques by the fire service and civil defense officials.
Various equipment including water tender, pump carrying tender, scissor lift, ambulance and snorkel vehicle were used in the drill.
Participants learned about various aspects of fire prevention, extinguishing methods, rescue operations, and emergency evacuation procedures.
