Unidentified muggers allegedly robbed Tk 55 lakh from Rabiul Islam, manager of digital financial service Nagad in Jashore after blocking his car bearing number Dhaka Metro Ga-15-5923 while he was going to Monirampur from Jasore town on Tuesday morning.聽
Confirming the matter, Monirampur police assistant sub-inspector Tanjir Hossain told 抖阴精品 that the incident took place at around 10:00am.
Bablur Rahan Khan, officer-in-charge of the Monirampur police station, however, could not be reached for his comment despite repeated attempts over the phone.
Manager Rabiul Islam said that the miscreants equipped with arms mugged Tk 55 lakh from him by building a barricade using three motorbikes and a human hauler, a locally modified vehicle, at Kuada Jamtala on the Jashore-Satkhira Road under Monirampur upazila while he was going to the upazila headquarters to hand over the amount to Monirampur office of the mobile banking.
Being mugged, he sought help from the Monirampur police, he added.
