Leaders of the Palestine Solidarity Committee, Bangladesh on Wednesday at a protest rally in Dhaka called on the Israeli government to stop killing Palestinian people in Gaza immediately.
The committee organised the rally in front of the National Press Club presided over by its member secretary Harun Ur聽 Rashid.
Left leader Harun Ur Rashid said that Israeli armed forces were leading barbaric attacks on the unarmed Palestinian people in Gaza and killing them.
Recently the Israeli forces had also blocked a ship carrying humanitarian aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza, Harun Ur Rashid said.
Harun also said that Israeli government was leading the attacks on the Palestinian people with the patronisation of the imperialist United States.
Belal Chowdhury, a member of the committee and also a left leader, said that Israeli government was trying to vacate the Gaza strip for construction of resorts there.
Left leader Mushrefa Mishu called on the world community to be vocal against the barbaric attacks by the Israeli government on Palestinian people.
Another left leader Zulfiker Ali said that most of the Bangladeshi people were extending their support to the Palestinian people.
Abdullah Kafee Ratan said that those days were not far away when a separate state for the Palestinian people would be established.
Left leaders Harun-or-Rashid, AKM Zahirul Islam and others also spoke at the rally.
The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded different city roads.
