
Bangladesh Medical University vice-chancellor Professor Md Shahinul Alam on Tuesday urged resident students to give more importance to thesis publication focusing on research, beneficial to the country.
He said that more importance should be given to publishing research that was useful for the welfare of the country, science, and people.
‘Thesis grants and money allocated for research should not go to waste,’ he said while distributing resident thesis grant to 549 residents studying in the higher medical education at BMU A Block auditorium, said a press release.
BMU pro-vice-chancellor Professor Md Abul Kalam Azad (administration), treasurer Professor Nahreen Akhtar, registrar Professor Md Nazrul Islam, among others, addressed the event with BMU pro-vice-chancellor Professor Md Mujibur Rahman Hawlader (research and development) in the chair.
