
Vice-chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Professor Md Abdul Latif at a seminar on Monday said that students should acquire practical knowledge with great skill and use this knowledge at the field level.
‘In addition to acquiring sound theoretical knowledge, students should acquire practical knowledge with great skill and use this knowledge at the field level. Only then, the meat needs of the people of Bangladesh will be fulfilled,’ he said at the seminar titled Empowering Future Veterinarians: Skills, Ethics, and Innovations at the SAU in Dhaka.
Professor Md Mahmudul Hasan presented keynote at the seminar, which was organised at the initiative of the Bangladesh Veterinary Council, said a press release.
Moderated by SAU associate professor Md Rashedul Islam, SAU treasurer Professor Md Abul Bashar and animal science and veterinary medicine faculty dean Md Jahangir Alam attended the seminar as special guests.
The seminar was presided over by Bangladesh Veterinary Council acting registrar Gopal Chandra Bishwas.
