Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology held a seminar for professional development of the newly recruited teachers in the posts of assistant professor, associate professor and professor at the RUET in Rajshahi on Sunday.
Under the initiative of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, RUET vice-chancellor Professor SM Abdur Razzak addressed the inaugural ceremony as chief guest, said press release.
Congratulating the newly appointed teachers, SM Abdur Razzak said, 鈥楻UET is a research-based higher education institution, where knowledge is cultivated through a combination of quality education and innovative research. You will play an important role in the development of the university with responsibility, efficiency and ethics.鈥�
IQAC director Professor Md Imdadul Haque presided over the seminar, attended by dean of the various faculties.
Resource persons for the seminar were Md Shahid Uz Zaman, director of the institute of information and communication technology of RUET, and Md Mamunur Rashid, head of the department of production management at Bangladesh Institute of Management.
