
Planning adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud at a workshop in Dhaka on Sunday said that agricultural research technology had been most useful in our country.
He made the remarks at the Annual Research Review Workshop 2024 organised by Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Research System, said a press release.
‘As a result, we have been able to meet the needs of various types of fruits and food in many areas,’ he said, mentioning that various bureaucratic complications hindered the research work of researchers.
‘Otherwise, the country would have progressed further in research,’ he said.
The adviser inaugurated the two-day workshop in the conference room of the university’s administrative building at the vent, which was presided over by the vice-chancellor of the university, Professor Md Abdul Latif.
The event was moderated by SAURS director Professor FM Aminuzzaman, and was attended by the pro-VC Professor Md Belal Hossain and treasurer Professor Muhammad Abul Bashar.
