Water and Sanitation for Urban Population Bangladesh, a UK-based non-profit organisation, officially launched its country business plan 2025–2030 on Wednesday at Hotel Bengal Blueberry in Dhaka.

The plan outlined WSUP’s strategic vision for expanding inclusive and sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene services in low-income urban communities across Bangladesh over the next five years, said a press release.


Ehteshamul Russel Khan, additional chief engineer (plan), department of public health engineering, was present as chief guest while Kazi Shahidul Islam, commercial manager, Chattogram WASA, Momshad Ali Khan, country head (director), The Coca-Cola Company, Dhaka, were special guests.

The event was also graced by key government officials, utility representatives, development partners, private sector leaders, and grassroots actors.

It had presence from WSUP’s global leadership, including chief operating officer Jeremy Horner and Anzo Francis from WSUP’s UK office, as well as Uttam Kumar Saha, WSUP Bangladesh country manager.
