Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, managing director and chief mutawalli of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, met with Palestinian ambassador to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan and provided financial assistance to the oppressed Palestinians.
The donation was presented at the Palestinian embassy in Baridhara, Dhaka, on Tuesday, said a press release.
The Palestinian envoy expressed his gratitude to the Hamdard family upon receiving the donation.
Hamdard senior director, planning and development, and director, marketing Professor Hakim Kamrun Nahar Harun, director, information and public relations, Amirul Momenin Manik, director of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh Brigadier General (retired) Mahbub Anwar, deputy director, administration, and director, legal and protocol, Md Mizanur Rahman, deputy manager Mohammad Abdul Aziz Masum were present.
As part of the ongoing support, Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh is providing jobs to seven Palestinian doctors who have graduated in medicine from Bangladesh.
