The Rapid Action Battalion on Saturday detained 35 Rohingyas at Khazurtala embankment area in Chattogram while they were attempting to flee from Bhasan Char.
RAB senior assistant director ARM Mozzafar Hossain, media officer of the RAB-7, said that the Rohingyas fled from Bhasan Char camp and landed at Khazurtala area in the city in the morning.
The RAB team detained them and informed the local police, he said.
The police are taking further legal action against them.
