Two workers were killed by a lightning strike while working at a paddy field at Shibpasha village under Ajmiriganj upazila in Habiganj district on Wednesday.
听The deceased are Manirul Islam 22 and Kapil uddin, 45 of the upazila.
听Quoting witnesses, Maidul Hasan, officer-in-charge of Ajmiriganj Police Station, said a streak of thunderbolt struck the two workers amid rains while they were working at a paddy field, leaving them dead on the spot.
听On information, police recovered the bodies.
