Chittagong Port Authority on Thursday distributed certificates among trainees, who participated in the Port Security and Maritime Single Window capacity building programme.
CPA chairman Rear Admiral MS Moniruzzaman handed over the certificates to trainees at Shaheed Md Fazlur Rahman Munshi Auditorium in the city as the chief guest, said a press release.
Members, department heads and other senior officials of the port were present at the ceremony.
The training event, conducted by European Union-funded Indo-Pacific Regional Information Sharing Platform, was held in two phases 鈥� first one on March 03-06 and the second on March 09-13. Twenty-eight people took part at the programme while Gregory John Clifford was the trainer.
