The concluding ceremony of the foundation training course for the officers of the National Institute of Population Research and Training was held at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development in Cumilla on Wednesday.
Ashrafi Ahmed, family planning department director general, was present as chief guest at the closing ceremony, which was presided over by director general of the BARD, Saif Uddin Ahmed, said a press release.聽
Saif Uddin Ahmed congratulated all the trainees for completing the training course and requested everyone to apply the knowledge gained from the training course in the workplace.
Gazi Shamsul Alam, NIPORT deputy director for training , was present as a special guest at the ceremony.
Abdullah Al Mamun, BARD director for training, also spoke at the ceremony.
Abdullah Al Hussain, BARD joint director, served as the course director, Abdullah-Al-Mamun, BARD assistant director, served as the assistant course director, and Rakhi Nandi, BARD deputy director, served as the course coordinator of the workshop.
聽Aklima Begum, assistant director, NIPORT, won the director general award in the course.
NIPORT 34 officers participated in the course, which started on January 12, mentioned the press release.
