The bodies of a woman and a boy were found on the bank of the Jayanti River in Moshurgao village under the Gosairhat upazila in Shariatpur on Tuesday.
The identities of the deceased and the relation between them could not be known until the filing of this report at around 7:40pm.
The police assumed that the woman was 30 years old and the child was four-year-old.聽
Gosairhat police officer-in-charge Md Maksud Alam said that they recovered the bodies and sent those to the Shariatpur Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations. 聽
