Members of Border Guard Bangladesh detained 33 Rohingyas from Alikadam in Bandarban district early Saturday while they were entering Bangladesh illegally.
Alikadam BGB-57 Naik Subedar Abdur Razzak said that acting on a tip-off, a patrol team conducted a raid on Amtali Asrayan project office in Sadar union and detained them.
The detained persons include 9 women, 10 men and 14 children and they are the citizens of Myanmar, according to the BGB sources.
