A 4-year child died after accidentally falling into the fire of a paddy-boiling stove in Dodaria village of Jhapa Union, Monirampur Upazila, Jashore on Saturday.
The deceased Rajan was the son of Milan Hossain from the village.
Rajan鈥檚 mother Parveen said Rajan fell into the stove while playing near it.
Abdur Razzak, officer-in-charge of Jashore Kotwali police station, confirmed the news.
