
Bangladesh interim government has appointed four prosecutors to the International Crimes Tribunal with immediate effect.
A gazette notification issued by the solicitor wing of the Law and Justice Division on Wednesday confirmed the appointments.
The newly appointed prosecutors include Md Abdus Sobhan Tarafder, accorded the status and benefits of an additional attorney general; Md Shahidul Islam Sardar, with the status and benefits of a deputy attorney general; Faruk Ahmed, holding the status and benefits of a deputy attorney general; and Md Hasanul Banna, enjoying the status and benefits of an assistant attorney general.
