The architecture department of North South University on Wednesday organised a programme titled Meet the Graduate: Future Path on the NSU campus in Dhaka.
The programme was organised to celebrate the 25th convocation with more than 100 students graduating from the department, said a press release on Thursday.
The event, hosted by the department chairperson, Ar Shahriar Iqbal Raj, provided a platform for graduates to express gratitude to the department's office staff and other behind-the-scenes personnel who contributed to their academic journey.
The interactive programme focused on professional growth, career opportunities, and alumni engagement.
Shahriar Iqbal emphasised the importance of joining the Institute of Architects Bangladesh and elaborated on its significance for aspiring architects.
Graduates also expressed interest in pursuing higher education and discussed potential support from the department.
Shahriar Iqbal also highlighted various international opportunities, including higher education scopes and recent departmental collaborations with universities in Australia and Japan.
Additionally, he announced the launch of a new postal attestation service, which would enable graduates to have their documents attested without visiting the campus, saving time and resources.
The programme also served as a platform to discuss the formation of an alumni body.
