The government on Wednesday made railways ministry secretary Abdul Baki an officer on special duty at the public administration ministry, while also changing the positions of a senior secretary and two more secretaries.
The public administration ministry issued separate gazette notifications to the effect, bringing changes at the top level civil bureaucracy.
Senior secretary to the Health Services Division MA Akmal Hossain Azad has been sent to the fisheries and livestock ministry, bridges division secretary Md Fahimul Islam has been sent to the railways ministry as its secretary, and NGO Affairs Bureau director general Md Saidur Rahman has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted as secretary to the Health Services Division under the health and family welfare ministry.
