Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation chairman Md Ruhul Amin Khan has inspected various activities of the BADC in Mymensingh in November 15-16.
He inspected the activities of irrigation wing, including construction of pre-fabricated steel fertiliser warehouse under construction at existing fertiliser warehouse in Shambhuganj of Mymensingh, said a press release on Sunday.
He said that pre-fabricated steel fertiliser warehouses were being constructed in different parts of the country so that quality fertilisers could be properly stored in warehouses imported through BADC and supplied to the farmers.
Providing guidance to all concerned in the execution of the construction work while maintaining the quality of the construction material, he also stressed the importance of taking action to ensure that farmers were not discriminated or harassed in getting agricultural materials and irrigation facilities.
He also participated in the annual research review workshop organised by the Bangladesh Atomic Research Institute along with the workshop organised by the partner project.
