Begum Rosy Kabir, adviser to BNP chairperson and a former MP passed away on Wednesday at the age of 73.
She breathed her last at 5:00am while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, family sources said.
She left behind two sons, two daughters, well-wishers, relatives and political colleagues to mourn her death.
Rosy Kabir鈥檚 political career in BNP began under the mentorship of her elder brother, former deputy speaker Barrister Sultan Ahmed.
She held positions of president of the BNP Women鈥檚 Wing, Chattogram city, senior vice president of the Chattogram city unit of BNP and various roles in the central committee of BNP.
