Members of the Rapid Action Battalion have arrested former chairman of Sirajganj鈥檚 Tarash Upazila Md Moniruzzaman Moni in Dhaka鈥檚 Dhanmondi area.
Moniruzzaman was arrested during a joint operation conducted by RAB-2 and RAB-12 at about 7:00pm on Tuesday, confirmed A RAB-2 operations officer on Wednesday.
He was facing charges in an attempted murder case filed with the Tarash Police Station in Sirajganj, said the RAB official.
