The government on Tuesday withdrew a case against MGH Group鈥檚 Chief Executive Officer Anis Ahmed Gorky.
Dhaka Metropolitan senior special judge Mohammad Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain passed the order, said a notice issued by the court.
The Anti-Corruption Commission filed the case against Anis Ahmed on December 28 in 2022 on charges of illegally amassing wealth worth Tk聽136 crore and money laundering.
ACC said that during investigation the accused provided acceptable explanations for Tk聽118.80 crore of his wealth.
ACC also said that there was no evidence against him to proceed with this case.
