Pabna Science and Technology University vice-chancellor professor SM Abdul Awal on Wednesday visited families of the martyrs and the injured in the July-August anti-discrimination student movement in Pabna and Sirajganj.
He visited houses of martyrs Jahidul Islam, Jahangir Hossain and Mahabub Hasan Niloy and injured Arafat on Wednesday.
He inquired about their families and expressed his condolences. The vice-chancellor became emotional while talking to the families.
He urged them to contact the VC for any need and assured them of his support for them.
Later, the vice-chancellor visited graves of the martyrs and said fatiha at the graves.
The VC was accompanied by proctor of the university Kamruzzaman Khan, Pabna University of Science and Technology coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement, Manjurul Islam and Rozina Khatun.
