Adviser for the ministries of shipping, textiles and jute brigadier general (retired) M Sakhawat Hossain on Monday said that the shipping ministry would not undertake any project under political consideration.
After visiting different development works at Payra Seaport, the adviser held a views-exchange meeting with the journalists in the morning.
鈥業mplementation of all ongoing projects of Payra Seaport will continue as usual,鈥� he added.
He said that the shipping ministry was carrying out its overall activities by giving special priority to the development and progress of Payra Seaport.
Shipping ministry鈥檚 additional secretary Sanjay Kumar Bonik, Payra port authority chairman rear admiral Abdullah Al Mamun, project director of the port commodore Rajib Tripura were present.
