The Border Guard Bangladesh arrested a drug dealer with 1 kilogram of crystal meth at Ukhia in Cox鈥檚 Bazar on Tuesday.
The arrested, Md Riduan, 19, is a resident of Bathatoli area of the upazila.
The BGB 30 battalion captain Lieutenant Colonel Wahiduzzaman Tanjid said that a BGB patrolling team stopped a suspicious easy bike at the Moriccha joint check post, and after the driver was searched, 1 kg of crystal meth was recovered from him.
The arrested has been handed over to Ramu police station, said the official.
