The Manarat International University organised a board of trustees meeting at its Codova Hall in Gulshan in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.

The chairman of the BoT of the university, former secretary Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, presided over it.


Among other, members of the BoT, former secretary Muhammad Ismail Hossain, former professor of Dhaka University ATM Fazlul Haque, former vice-chancellors of the MIU Professor M Umar Ali and Professor Md Abdur Rab, former DU professor Mozammel Haque, Enamul Haque Chowdhury FCA, Barrister Foyez Uddin Ahmed, Professor Zehad Khan, Engineer Md Abul Bashar, Supre Court senior lawyer Matiur Rahman, and the MIU acting vice-chancellor Professor Md Abdus Sabur Khan attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the commemorated the martyrs, including the MIU two students named Md Shakil Hossain and Md Ahnaf Abir Ashrafullah, in the students’ movement for quota reform in the government jobs.

They prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs and the recovery of the injured in the movement.

They took various academic and administrative decisions at the meeting, the press release added.
