
Fareast International University signed a deal with Daffodil Computers Limited to implement a state-of-the-art integrated university management system.
In this regard, a signing ceremony was held on the FIU campus on Wednesday, said a press release on Saturday.
Md Moshiur Rahman, registrar of Fareast International University, and Jafar Ahmed Patwary, general manager of Daffodil Computers Ltd signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Professor Raquib Ahmed, vice-chancellor of the Fareast International University, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, group CEO of the Daffodil Family, and other high officials of both institutions attended the MoU signing ceremony.
Under this agreement, Daffodil Computers Ltd will design and implement advanced software to streamline and automate all administrative and academic processes at FIU. The system will encompass student admissions, information management, course registration, grading, scheduling, examinations, and result generation. Additionally, administrative tasks such as certificate verification, human resource management, and financial management will be digitized. Key features include a smart dashboard, remote approval management, smart tasks, and AI integration to enhance operational efficiency and educational quality.
