A workshop aimed at raising awareness of Right to Information Act and Regulations was organised by the PRIP department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University on Monday, said a press release.
The BSMRAAU vice-chancellor, Air Vice Marshal A K M Manirul Bahar, was present as chief guest and information commission director Md Abdul Hakim was present as discussant at the programme.
Besides, the chairman of the committee on Right to Information Act and Regulations, Group Captain Md Rabiul Hasan, spoke at the event.
All officers, teachers and employees of Dhaka campus of the university participated in the workshop in person and all officers, teachers and employees of Lalmonirhat campus participated online.
After the discussion, the workshop concluded with the closing speech and vote of thanks by the pro-vice-chancellor of the university Air Commodore ATM Habibur Rahman.
