The closing and prize giving ceremony of 鈥楨xcelMaestros 2024鈥�, organised by Bangladesh University of Professionals Finance Society, was held on Sunday on BUP campus.
With the guidance of BUP vice-chancellor major general Md Mahbub-ul Alam, finance and banking department at BUP organised the training programme, which started on May 10 to equip the students with the advanced excel skills, required for success in today鈥檚 data-driven world, said a press release.
Students from 17 renowned universities participated in ExcelMaestros 2024. Participants got a detailed idea about different types of Excel software uses and how to solve problems through it. In addition to Excel, the idea of STATA, software widely used for statistics, was also provided.
In the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed among the winners based on the results of the post-training competition. Among others, president of CFA Society Bangladesh, pro-VC of BUP 鈥峚long with high officials, faculty members of finance and banking department, students from various universities and students from the concerned department of BUP were present.
