Police arrested three people who appeared as proxy candidates in the recruitment test for health assistant posts in Chattogram civil surgeon office on Wednesday.
The arrested were Joynal Abedin Chowdhury, of Banshkhali upazila, Md Jabed, of Chandanaish upazila, and Rony Das, of Lohagara upazila.
The health superintendent of Chattogram civil surgeon office said that the arrested came for viva voce of the recruitment test for health assistants after changing their photos on the admit cards.
Following the suspicious movement of the trio, the authorities concerned interrogated them and arrested them.
Earlier, on May 3, another proxy examinee was arrested during the written test for the same post who was sentenced to one-month jail.
