The publications of two books written by Bir Pratik Md Shahjahan Kabir on the history of the War of Independence were launched at the Liberation War Affairs Ministry in the capital on Thursday.
The books titled Sat Bir Shrestha Jatir Shrestha Santan and Amar Ekattar were written by Shajahan Kabir on the history of the country鈥檚 war of independence.
Liberation War Affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque unveiled the books at a ceremony organised by the 鈥楰hetab Prapta Muktijoddha Association鈥� with Bir Pratik Gulam Azad in the chair.
AKM Mozammel Haque said that Shahjahan Kabir had been researching on the war of independence for a long time and had already enriched the history of the war through his writing.
He urged the freedom fighters, like Shahjahan Kabir, to do research on the war and write the history of the war properly.
The minister also thanked the writer, saying that he had presented the history of the war properly in the two books.
