A 22-year-old youth was found dead from hanging with his hands and feet tied in his residence in Sipahibagh area of Khilgaon area in Bangladesh capital Dhaka early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Jamal of Jamalpur.
He used to work at a Rickshaw garage and lived with his mother in a tin-shed house in Sipahibagh area of Khilgaon.
Khilgaon police station officer-in-charge Salahuddin Mia said that Jamal was alone in the house as his mother went to their village a few days ago.
Local people found Jamal鈥檚 body hanging in the room with a rope around his neck at about 2:00am. However, his hands and feet were tied and a rope was twisted around his neck, he said.
On information, police recovered the body at about 5:00am, the OC said.
The process of filing a case over the incident was underway, added the police official.
