A bus driver鈥檚 assistant killed after being hit by another bus in Mirpur鈥檚 Pallabi area in Dhaka on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Sujon Bepari, 25, a resident of Shariatpur district. He was an assistant of a Paristhan Paribahan bus driver.
The accident occurred at about 9:30am, while he was getting into the bus and being hit by another passenger bus of the same company, leaving him seriously injured.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead at about 12:30pm.
The deceased鈥檚 friend Sohag Mia said that Sujon was living with his family at Chalantika slum in Mirpur鈥檚 Pallabi area.
DMCH police camp in-charge Mohammad Bachchu Mia said that the body was kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy and the matter had been informed to the concerned police station.
