Inter-department football tournament-2025 began at Gono Bishwabidyalay in Savar of Dhaka district on Sunday. Both male and female students will compete in the tournament.
Gono Bishwabidyalay vice-chancellor Professor Md Abul Hossain inaugurated the competition by hoisting the national flag and releasing balloons at the university鈥檚 central playground, said a press release.
Gono Bishwabidyalay treasurer Professor Md Serajul Islam, registrar Md Ohiduzzaman, along with deans of various faculties, department heads and president of the sports committee were present.
Two matches were held on the inaugural day. Boys of law department and medical physics and biomedical engineering department competed in the first match while the second one held between Bengali department and business administration department.
