Business Genius Bangladesh organised the Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology presents ‘10th International Business Genius Bangladesh 2025’ at the auditorium of North South University in Dhaka on Saturday.
The event, sponsored by Farazy Hospital Limited and different corporate companies, was organised in collaboration with the NSU’s department of marketing and international business, said a press release.
The event’s event management partner was the Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management while the debate management partner was Bangladesh Debate Warriors.
University students showcased their business ideas, ad making, quiz, cultural performances and more at the event.
The event also featured AI-based seminar, a question-and-answer session, meet the celebrity, a live discussion show, a multimedia presentation, an award ceremony and others.
The judges came from a variety of backgrounds and occupations.
MA Nahiyan, the programme’s chief organiser and Business Genius Bangladesh, gave the welcome address and led the programme’s briefing.
University Grants Commission of Bangladesh member Professor Tanzim Uddin was chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Guest of honour of the ceremony was Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, vice-chancellor, North South University, and AKM Zabed, COO, Dekko Foods Ltd.
Special Guests of the ceremony was Khandker Md Nahin Mamun, chairperson and assistant professor, department of marketing and international business, North South University.
Associate Professor M Abdullah Al Mamun, chief adviser, Business Genius Bangladesh, was the chair of the ceremony.
Afran Nisho, Masuma Rahman Nabila, Raihan Rafi, Sadia Ayman, Irfan Sajjad, Iftakar Chowdhury, Neel Hurerzahan were the celebrity guests of the programme.
Jabed Sultan Pias, chief digital business officer, Prothom Alo digital; Sabbir Nasir, managing director, ACI Logistics Limited; Md Golam Rabby Ariyan, CEO, Dynasty Securities, were adjudicators of Inter University Business Idea Presentation Competition (grand finale).
In the evening, Dilruba S Khan, Group HR director, AkijBashir Goup distributed the crests to winners of different contests.
